I am a freelance plant and garden photographer based in Shropshire. It is little wonder I have been drawn to photographing the natural world, flowers in particular. My father was a keen gardener and photographer recording his growing children and his exuberant floral displays.

I became interested in photography some years ago after my husband bought me a 35mm Pentax zoom camera. I then bought a second hand SLR and took myself off to the the local college to do GCSE Photography, swiftly followed by an A-Level. After encouragement from my tutor I applied for a place at Staffordshire University and was successful. After 3 years of study I gained my BA(Hons) in 2000 and became an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society - and then the work REALLY began!

I am a member of the Garden Media Guild and the Professional Garden Photographers Association. I have been published in The English Garden, Shropshire Life Magazine, WI Life magazine and on the front cover of the 2011 NGS Yellow Book.

Some images are now available to purchase on-line by going to the Sales page. Prints are available as an A4, A3 or 200mm square and are printed on high quality, archival matte paper using pigment based inks for longevity.
